With a deep understanding of energy systems and sustainable building practices, Martyn has built a solid career focused on Retrofitting & implementing energy efficiency measures across various sections the Built Environment for both residential and commercial clients.
As a seasoned expert in Energy efficiency, Martyn has worked on a wide array of projects within the retrofit industry. With extensive experience in the installation of Building Fabric Energy efficiency measures, Domestic Energy Assessments, Technical Surveying, Retrofit assessments, including retrofit advise and recommendations for old/ traditional buildings, as well as his Level 5 Retrofit Co-Ordinator qualifications.
Martyn has also obtained his qualifications to show competency in assessing background ventilation in existing buildings, allowing not only to be able to carry out these assessments but also a greater understanding of this element of the assessment process, ensuring that all checks for information coming in for a project can be properly checked by out own specialist.
Martyn has been actively practicing as a Retrofit Coordinator since Gaining his qualification in early 2022.
As a retrofit coordinator, Martyn is committed to the transition towards a net zero future. His role is to drive and facilitate the transformation of existing buildings, ensuring that energy efficiency is not just a goal but a practical and achievable outcome.
