Joanne is a talented architect with a wealth of experience specialising in residential and mixed-use projects. With a commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality designs, she strives to achieve the best outcomes for both clients and end users.
Since joining JDA in 2024, Joanne has brought a wealth of understanding of social housing and community projects to the studio team in Liverpool, enriching the company’s design ethos.
Her extensive expertise encompasses housing for older adults, having successfully managed a variety of projects, including extra care facilities, sheltered housing, and care homes. Joanne has also led several initiatives focused on young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and those experiencing homelessness.
Her collaborative approach enables her to work closely with clients and end users, ensuring that each project results in bespoke, contextually relevant, and efficient design solutions.
An advocate for sustainability and accessibility, Joanne's passion for environmentally conscious design was secured in her experience as a former Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor. She is dedicated to creating spaces that are not only functional but also enriching for the communities they serve.
In addition to her project work, Joanne is invested in architectural education. At the Liverpool studio, she plays a vital role in mentoring aspiring architects, guiding them through the complexities of professional practice and the RIBA Part 3 course.
