Matthew Crowney
Architect
Matthew completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Liverpool John Moores University, qualifying as an Architect in 2023 before joining our Liverpool office in July 2026.
He has experience leading projects across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, working within a variety of sectors including residential, urban design, commercial and infrastructure. Before joining JDA, Matthew contributed to several Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), where he gained valuable experience in delivering complex schemes, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
Matthew has a particular interest in placemaking, sustainability and regeneration. He is passionate about delivering thoughtful design solutions that respond sensitively to their context and benefit the communities they serve. He also has a keen interest in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital technologies, bringing these skills to support the delivery of JDA's projects.
