The project involved the redevelopment of this underutilised brownfield site in Scunthorpe, to make way for a new affordable housing scheme comprising of 20 units.
This development features one-bedroom apartments on the ground floor and first-floor "walk-up" units, all designed to fit comfortably within the compact site. The site also incorporated communal parking and an informal recreational open space for residents to enjoy and socialise in.
The design of the development is carefully crafted to harmonise with its surroundings, demonstrating a keen awareness of scale, massing, and overall appearance.
It thoughtfully considers the site’s constraints while respecting the proportions and architectural rhythm of the neighbouring properties within this tight knit community.
