The comprehensive extension and remodel of an existing residential care home, aimed at enhancing the living experience for residents while maintaining the home’s warm and inviting atmosphere.

This redevelopment focused on providing luxury accommodations and modern amenities, ensuring that residents enjoy a high standard of living and care.

A thoughtfully designed extension to increase the overall capacity of the care home while seamlessly integrating with the existing structure. This addition will provide additional space for communal areas, activity rooms, and support facilities, promoting social interaction and well-being among residents.

Residents benefit from private sanctuaries designed for comfort and relaxation, with en-suite bathrooms that offer modern fixtures. Each room tailored to enhance comfort and privacy, ensuring a tranquil living environment.

To ensure that the care home accommodates all residents, the project prioritised accessibility. Hallways and communal spaces designed to be navigable for individuals with mobility aids, and common facilities will adhere to universal design principles, making them usable for everyone.

The extension includes thoughtfully landscaped outdoor areas that encourage residents to connect with nature and each other. Gardens, walking paths, and seating areas are integrated into the design, promoting physical activity and providing peaceful settings for relaxation.

This project not only focuses on expanding residential capacity but also enhances the quality of care provided.
