This one-off house is set deep in the rugged landscape of Anglesey’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty overlooking the stunning Red Wharf Bay.
The proposal was to demolish the existing dilapidated dwelling and replace it with a new sustainable and energy efficient family home, fit for 21st century living.
The design nestles into the Welsh Coastline, respecting the context of the site; the topography and the existing trees, whilst harnessing the spectacular views out to the bay and across to Moelfre Port.
Internally, the living arrangement is created with open plan, split level, and dual aspect elements, where reorientation of the building improves integration externally, into the surrounding landscape.
