Millers Lane, Atherton is a contemporary and thoughtfully designed 170-unit housing scheme, comprising affordable rental properties, shared ownership opportunities, and private sale homes.

This diverse blend of housing types aims to cater to a wide range of community needs and create a vibrant residential environment.

Some key aspects to the development included the careful manipulation of site constraints to maximise the opportunities to create areas of high quality public open space, encouraging social interaction and promoting outdoor activities and community well-being.

A soft edge was implemented to the settlement boundary to allow it to seamlessly flow into the surrounding countryside whilst also respecting and retaining existing trees and vegetation.

Potential connections into adjacent parcels of land were identified and maintained in the layout to enable future development, whilst also considering pedestrian infrastructure and how this could connect to the wider community.
